What Might Have Happened To America Without Faithful Christian Ministers

This is just a brief post to thank the thousands of professional, seminary-trained ministers in America today who are leading millions of faithful church-attending Christians. If it wasn't for the fact that so many of them take a bold, uncompromising stand against evil and speak the truth without reservation, just like the men in the early church and the men of Reformation times, then I can only imagine the depths to which our society might have fallen.

Most people think I'm exaggerating when I say such things, but if we didn’t have these self-sacrificing men of God then it’s possible that we could be witnessing abominations such as hundreds of thousands of infants being murdered in the womb every year; thousands of sexual deviants celebrating their sins by parading through the streets of our cities unopposed; children being taught that their gender is not something God-given but can be changed according to their own choice; widespread rebellion against authority including women usurping the roles of men in the family and at every level of society, a thoroughly corrupt money system run by anti-Christs; and a civil government that believes it is God and can therefore redefine right and wrong, and which also wages wars that kill millions of people who are no threat to us.

You may think it's far-fetched but these things could have happened in America, if the men in the professional religious establishment had chosen -- for the sake of their own comfort, ease, and prosperity -- to reduce Christianity to an inward-looking, cowardly, effeminate religion that never offends anyone by speaking hard truths and just wants to hide away from the world. But they know they would be answerable to God for such wicked behavior and so to their credit they chose not to take that easy road just for the sake of protecting their jobs, and it is because of their faithfulness that we have such a Christ-honoring society today and that future generations of American Christians will be free from the threat of persecution.
